Are you enthusiastic about providing exceptional guest experiences and keeping the dining area sparkling? We’re seeking dedicated hosts to join our new upscale American-style restaurant, The Sunness! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy supporting your team to create memorable moments for guests, we want to hear from you!
About Us: Located at 2465 E Sunrise Blvd, Ft Lauderdale, FL 33304, The Sunness offers a modern twist on classic American cuisine, featuring locally sourced ingredients and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We’re committed to delivering top-notch service and unforgettable meals to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and seat guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly first impression.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of OpenTable a plus but not required.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
